Iva on our way out to Narsarsuaq from Qaqortoq. It was quite the boat ride, as the spring ice (which breaks off the east coast and flows around the southern tip of Kalaallit Nunaat Greenland before flooding into the western fjords) had arrived. This is also the best time for seal hunting, as the seals move with the ice, and for polar bear sightings, with the polar bears following the seals on the ice floe before swimming and walking back east over the ice sheet.
